The Legal Futurists Society was established in 1994. The Legal Futurists Society holds informal, invitation only gatherings of legal industry thought leaders in law firms, corporate legal departments, law schools, legal vendors, "new model" legal service providers, legal consulting firms, and other areas of the legal profession to discuss the current state and potential future state of the legal profession, with an emphasis on the interplay between law firms, corporate legal departments, law schools, government agencies, legal vendors, and "new model" legal service providers. The Legal Futurists Society also engages in other events and activities that support its mission. The Legal Futurists Society was the first organization to bring together representatives of components of the legal industry eco-system to discuss the short and long term vision for the legal industry. An invitation to participate in a Legal Futurists Society gathering is an indication that the invitee has achieved excellence in the legal profession significantly greater than their peers.
The gatherings are typically held in the Spring and Fall of each year. If you would like to be considered to receive an invitation for membership in the Legal Futurists Society or have other questions about the Legal Futurists Society, please contact the Co-Founder and President, Jeff Paquin, at 404.307.8223 or jeff.paquin@paquinllc.com.
